This was a sublime poetry evening co-hosted by Apathy Threads on the 11th of February at Tartine Artisanal in Tooting, and bore witness to raw spoken word, poetry, rap and readings. Tartine Artisanal is a cafe which boasts its French-Moroccan roots inside its food and decor. It proved the perfect place to have cake, some tea and a healthy dose of Poetry.
Headlining the night, was the amazing Bella Cox who wowed us away with her poetry. We were also in the presence of BBC Radio 1Xtra dj and presenter Mim Shaikh, who shared an intimate piece of poetry talking about his father who he’s never met, and his struggle to find him.
At its core, the event brought together artists and creatives across London and the venue management was a pleasure to work with.
